During their stay in Kathmandu, the Maldivian cadets had the unique opportunity to meet with prominent Nepalese officials, including the President, Prime Minister, Defense Minister, Army Chief of Staff, and the Executive Director General of the Nepal National Cadet Corps where they proudly represented Maldives alongside their international peers. These interactions allow the cadets to gain insights into Nepal's defense operations.
In addition to the official meetings, the cadets took part in a variety of activities organized for Nepal Army Day, celebrating Nepal's rich military history and heritage. They also toured significant historical and archaeological sites, gaining a deeper understanding of Nepal's cultural legacy.
This event showcased the spirit of international cooperation and collaboration, highlighting the role of youth in fostering peace and friendship. The Maldives cadets, alongside their counterparts, made lasting memories while furthering the goals of the International Cadet Exchange Programme.
The MNCC leadership has expressed deep appreciation to Nepal's National Cadet Corps for facilitating this valuable opportunity. The exchange program has provided MNCC cadets with invaluable international exposure, contributing to their development as future leaders who understand the importance of global cooperation and cultural understanding.
